2018 Omicron Delta Fall Education Conference
STTI Odyssey 2018 Conference
Del Mar, California
November 8-10, 2018

Omicron Delta was honored to be a part of two exciting education conference events that were held in Del Mar, California.  On November 8th and 9th the Odyssey 2018 Conference, "Designing the Future of Health Care:  Nurse Connecting, Collaborating and Catalyzing" was held and then on November 10th, Omicron Delta hosted "Nursing in the Digital Age:  Implications for Education, Service, Administration and Research".  It was an exciting few days for our members who were able to attend.  It was great to see so many Sigma members connecting and engaging at both events!

Nursing in the  Digital Age:  Implications for Education, Service, Administration & Research

Omicron Delta members spent a great day exploring emerging technologies and linkages to clinical applications, education, administration, and research.  Terri Nichols from TRN Consulting and Lee Ann Shearing from Adventist Health served as the keynote speakers for this event.  The day included keynote presentations, breakout sessions, poster presentations, exhibits and so much more!  Continuing education were provided by Omicron Delta.

While so many members of the chapter were in the same location - Omicron Delta also hosted a face to face induction event and a service activity walk that benefited  The service activity was titled "20 for 20" as the chapter spent 20 minutes walking to raise $20 per person during their 20th anniversary year!  So much fun for such a great event!

Omicron Delta would like to thank everyone who attended these events and the following sponsors:  University of Phoenix (Double Platinum); (Silver)
